Here at Artis Blackheath we are making changes to adhere to the standard government guidelines. These requirements and precautions are set to make sure you and our team are as safe as
possible whilst still enjoying your experience with us.

Here at Artis Blackheath we are making changes to adhere to the standard government guidelines. These requirements and precautions are set to make sure you and our team are as safe as
possible whilst still enjoying your experience with us.
Keeping you safe:
Rest assured that Artis Blackheath will undergo a vigorous sterilisation process prior to opening and once fully opened these processes will be carried out at regular intervals.
- We will provide hand sanitisers at all points of entry and in the washrooms.
- We will be running at a reduced capacity in order to meet government guidelines on social distancing.
- All seating directly at our bar will be removed.
- Our washroom entrance has been fitted with a foot pull to minimise hand contact.
Bookings:
- Please be aware that in line with government guidelines we encourage that bookings at Artis Blackheath are limited to members of any 2 households or support bubbles.
- We encourage all reservations to be made in advance and that by doing so you adhere to the government guidelines. These can be found on govt.uk
- Upon entering Artis Blackhath, you are responsible for adhering to social distancing guidelines which will be clearly displayed
- If you are accompanied by children you are responsible for supervising them at all times to ensure they follow social distancing guidelines
- We will stagger all seating times to avoid unnecessary queuing
- By choosing to visit Artis Blackheath you agree to adhere to our and the government covid -19 policies and procedures.
Our Team:
- All teams will be subject to having their temperature checked before working and will be sent home if a temperature is detected.
- Our staff will refrain from physical contact with each other where possible and where not deemed necessary for their employment.
- Teams must travel to and from work in personal clothes and shoes, changing on site into their uniforms.
- All common areas will be wiped down with sanitiser spray hourly. This includes door handles, push pads, and washrooms, till systems, PDQ machines and stations.
- Full PPE will be provided for all staff members should they wish to use
- We will endeavour to minimise contact between from and back of house staff
Your Dining Experience:
- Please be aware that in line with government guidelines we encourage that bookings are limited to members of any 2 households or support bubbles
- If you are accompanied by children you are responsible for supervising them at all times to ensure they follow social distancing guidelines
- We encourage you to use the hand santisers provided when entering the restaurant
- Disposable menus will be provided and disposed of after each use
- We will be Providing only disposable condiments or cleaning non- disposable condiment containers after each use
- We will continue to sanitise the tables and chairs after each use
- We will no longer be providing the bill in a wallet
- We encourage contactless payment where possible
Cleaning in the Workplace:
Continuing with our standard cleaning processes we will
- Frequently clean objects and surfaces that are touched regularly including counters, tills, and making sure there are adequate disposal arrangements for cleaning products.
- We will Clean surfaces and objects between each customer use. For example, cleaning tables, card machines, chairs, trays and laminated menus in view of customers before customer use.
- Frequently clean work areas and equipment between use
- Maintain good ventilation
- Have a high frequency of hand washing throughout the day
- Provide hand sanitiser in the washrooms
